Tackling the tough jobs?  That is Lectro-Truck!!

One word: "Wow."

We recently had to move seven heavy main-frame computers. Seems that five (5) men had already moved them, and a few lighter weight pieces, down a half-set of stairs from one area of the building to another. They had to do this so they could then bring them up a full set of stairs and out of the building. They succeeded in getting the few lighter weight ones out but confirmed to their supervisor that there was no way the five of them were going to be able to get the heavier units up the full stairway (with a turn in the middle) and out of the building as he requested. The supervisor contacted us at Fradon Lock Company because we had moved main-frames for them in the past. The work site was over an hour drive from us. After receiving several e-mailed pictures of the stairs and landing, I asked the supervisor if he could modify the turn slightly by building a temporary platform to put in at the landing. Assuring us that this would be no problem for him to do, we granted his wish and brought all seven up and out of the building for him. Without the Lectro-Truck, or the temporary platform, I don't think they would have gotten the rest of their equipment (in one piece) out of the building.

Over many years, I've talked to people who either own, or are thinking of buying the Lectro-Truck. I've often suggested to them that they call me if they have to do a move but are not sure as to how. We've been moving safes (mostly), computers, pianos, appliances, water heaters, wood stoves, soda machines and pizza ovens for the better part of our 42 years...... back when Lectro-Truck first began building their machines.

He had a delivery of a large and heavy (700-800 pound) gun safe up a flight of steps.  Heath wanted me to see a picture of the steps on which he moved the safe.  The customer was so impressed at how easily the Lectro-Truck moved the safe, that he let Heath back into his home to take pictures of the staircase!!  Here is a picture:
